Report On Anti-Crime Outreach to Oshodi Youth Residing Beneath the Bridges

On April 7, 2024, the Eagle Crime Awareness and Prevention Initiative (ECAPI) officials, led by its National President; Ambassador Samuel Eniola Adam, conducted a visit to Oshodi towards engaging the youth who resides beneath the bridges. The purpose of the visit was to inform them about the upcoming Anti-Crime Youths Movement event, scheduled to hold on; April 17, 2024. The delegation includes Detective Lawson (Baba Oshodi), Special Adviser MWO Chinwe Obinwanne, and other dignitaries.

The main goal of the scheduled program was to create awareness about the Anti-Crime Youths Movement and encourage wide participation of all the key actors in and around Oshodi and its environs for peace and tranquility to reign. However, further discussions emphasising on the importance of combating crime for a safer environment were duly highlighted while notification about the event was equally duly served along with its purpose and agenda.

The visit effectively informed the youths about the Movement, fostering community involvement and collaboration in addressing crime challenges. The positive reception indicated willingness to participate and support future initiatives. Ongoing efforts will be crucial for sustaining progress in promoting safety and security.
