Bid Opening For 114 Roads: Alimosho LG

As part of efforts to key into the developmental strides of Lagos state government, the Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon led administration of Alimosho Local Government has formally opened bids for construction of Omirinde road in Alimosho LG.

The bid opening which took place on Wednesday 28th February 2024, at Conference Room of Alimosho LG witnessed the presence of three contractors, Synergies Ultimate Nigeria Limited: KAD T Project Construction & Innovation Limited, and Vista Brick Nigeria Limited.

Four companies had originally submitted bid documents for the road construction project but one of the companies, Foursome Nigeria Limited failed to attend the official bidding process.

While declaring the Tender Board open, the Vice Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Johnson, who doubles as Chairman of the Tender Board, reiterated that the bid-opening for construction of road in Alimosho LG became necessary in order to adhere strictly to the guidelines and follow due process as being laid down before the award of the contract.

The representatives of the companies were pleased with the bids opening process as Hon. Akinpelu Johnson, ably assisted by the Secretary of the Tender Board and Procurement officer, Mrs. Owolabi, conducted the process with transparency, fairness, and strict compliance with the contractual modalities.

While adhering to the public procurement principles, each of the submitted bids were revealed and went through scrutiny in the presence of the representatives of the companies.

Those also conspicuously present at the event were; the Secretary to Local Government (SLG), Hon. Dare Ogunkoya; Council Engineer, Engr. Samuel Mautin Ayodele; Deputy Director, Ministry of Works, Mrs. Lade-Ige Olubunmi; Supervisors and other political Office holders.
